Tactical Handgun II (TACHNDG2)
This course will move beyond the introductory topics and focus on the fundamentals of shooting, and builds on the lessons learned in Handgun Marksmanship I. Shooters will learn the fundamentals of safely deploying a firearm. The student will begin to see how the fundamentals need to be accomplished perfectly for correct and consistent shot placement, as well as be ready for continued development off the range. Predominance of class time will be engaging targets down range, and certain drills will incorporate the use of a timer.

Course description:
- Firearms safety;
- Proper grip, stance, trigger press, and sight alignment;
- Review weapons malfunction drills;
- Review reloading drills;
- Engaging multiple targets;
- Shooting on the move;

Requirements:
- Serviceable pistol or revolver;
- Approximately 500 rounds of ammunition;
- Three magazines or speed loaders;
- Holster and two magazine pouches;
- Eye/ear protection;
- Appropriate attire for the season;
